BE LIKE DANIEL: TEN TIMES BETTER
Holy Spirit is bringing a life of deep separation from a number of things. There is a greater level of consecration to the Lord that Holy Spirit is emphasizing in the church-the called out community of kingdom citizens. Not solely in the obvious matters of immorality, but also treating the things of God as “holy” and getting back to the main thing as we acknowledge and recognize our core motives and true intentions as either holy (unto the Spirit) OR profane (unto the self).
Your Consecration Leads You to Great Promotion
The Levites were separate from the rest of the tribes, which “qadosh” or holy- to the Lord. They were NOT to be COMMON. Holy Spirit is consecrating the things that you have had and held onto.
“But Daniel resolved (purposed) that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself.” (Daniel 1:8)
Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself.
It’s time to make a decision to not allow the lesser things to compromise us out of the great. It’s time to purpose to not fall back into the same old patterns but to be renewed in your mind and spirit. It’s time to purpose to say “no” to the world and to say “yes” to the Lord. Say “no” to the mixture and say “yes” to the measure and intent of Christ. No more cutting-corners and overlooking issues and yes to excellence and whole-heartedness.
“And in every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in all his kingdom.” (Daniel 1:20)
When we access the same grace that Daniel operated in, you will be ten times better than every other person around you!
You will be ten times better than every learned magician, politician, teacher, scholar, and master. You will become ten times better than the fathers and mothers that have gone ahead of you! And this isn’t arrogance, but this is the reality of what the Spirit of the Lord will do through a person who humbles themselves in purity and prayer.
As Daniel did, in this season consecrated leaders will take matters to prayer rather than to people.
Kingdom leaders take matters to the presence of the Lord rather than the board rooms of man. True leaders take matters to the face of God rather than the face of man. Because they’ve been bathed in the place of prayer and in the presence of God, they will release the manifold wisdom of God.
Prayer is the Earmark of Heaven on Earth
Daniel lived a constant life of prayer. Prayer was his source of secrets. Prayer was the source of his mysteries unveiled. Prayer was the place of his strength, boldness, wisdom, and leadership. It was his time in daily prayer that led him into national and international leadership.
Holy Spirit is revealing some great secrets to the Body of Christ. Nothing shall be hidden from you! You will hear of the rumors, of the gossip, of the slander, of the coming attacks. You will hear of the plots and plans of the enemy and the Lord will give you the upper-hand. You will have secret intel because of the voice of the Lord. You will no longer be behind but you will be the head and you will have the upper-hand!
The Discerner In You Shall Reign
“For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:12-13)
The Word of the Lord is living and active and it is a discerner! The Lord shall gift you with the spirit of discernment. You will not be fooled or outwitted. You will walk in wisdom, inside and out. Nothing shall be hidden from you because you will have the mind of the Lord. You have the grace of discernment – to know what to do and how to do it. To know who to work with and who to deny access to.
You will be aware of false covenants and alliances that are polluting your systems of wealth, health, wellness, and well-being. Many things are going to be uncovered in this time because of the discernment of these emerging Daniel-type mindset people.
You are coming into a season where your discernment, wisdom, and understanding is causing you to be distinguished from those who are on the left and right of you. The Lord is distinguishing you due the sown seeds of prayer and a life of purity.
This is your UPGRADE SEASON
“Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.” (Daniel 6:3)
Although, there will be those who will despise your favor. There will be jealous people who will try to take credit for where you are in life. There will be those who will seek to distract by bringing up flaws and failures. There will be no case and no ground for a charge to be set up against you as you continue to prepare yourself and consecrate in the place of prayer.
